Church Concerts

Churches request concerts to serve a number of different purposes.

- Sunday morning worship services

- Sunday evening worship services

- Weekday service

(Wed. Night Bible Study, College Group, etc.)

- Youth praise service

- Special music / Reflective music

Jack's music moves easily from spiritual reflection to meditation to worship.

Because Jack has worked in a number of ecclesiastical settings, most recently full-time as the Director of Ministry Development at the Community Reformed Church of Colonie, and now as a worship leader at the Roosevelt Park Community Christian Reformed Church, he understands churches, liturgy, worship songs, and people’s expectations, making him a suitable candidate to help varied congregations worship meaningfully and reflectively.

Worship Events

Jack is an accomplished worship leader, serving summer camps, churches, schools and colleges. Ministering as a traveling worship leader, lay-chaplain, and resident artist, Jack has written many songs for group worship and meditation.

As a youth minister and summer camp chaplain, Du Mez has planned and led many kinds of worship services.

- Sunday worship for large churches

- Reflective and meditative prayer experiences

- Outdoor camping retreats for small groups

- Volunteer and service-based youth retreats

- Liturgical worship ceremonies

His understanding of liturgy and his groundedness in Biblical imagery make Jack a sound worship leader. He has led worship in Christ-centered churches of many religious traditions.

Churches have invited Jack to emcee and perform at outreach coffeehouses, to host events for teens and twenty-somethings, and to play for ladies circles and pastor's groups. Jack's presence is genuine and his spirit is humble - helping him minister to hurting, broken people.
