Jack has played a number of small venues across the Northeast and Midwest United States. He has brought his unique blend of spirited new folk and acoustic rock to venues sometimes off the beaten path.

His mix of original acoustic rock and driving new folk music has earned him a growing reputation as a solid musician and consummate wordsmith. DuMez has performed in a few top notch venues including the historic Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York - early home to Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Don McClean. After playing the open mic at Lena‘s, DuMez was invited to open for Compass Records® recording artist Pierce Pettis (who co-authored Garth Brook’s top ten hit “You Move Me”). DuMez’s impressive performance prompted Lena’s to offer him his own show and invite him to perform as a “rising star” for their Homecoming Weekend.

Subsequently, DuMez has been invited to play in regional concerts, private parties, schools, and coffee houses across the Northeast and Midwest United States.
